STUDIO POLICIES

• The Studio is small and seating is limited. Please leave the best friend and the boyfriend at home. ;) 

• The appointment is for the client only. However, if the client is a minor, then one parent or guardian is allowed to stay. 

• Our goal is for the client to have a fun, relaxing experience and leave the studio calm and ready for their event! Special event and pageant days can be stressful for all involved. Too much chatter, nerves and energy in a small space can be overwhelming. Therefore, please consider enjoying downtown New Albany while we style the client. There are many great shops and restaurants in New Albany! Feel free to run an errand, grab a bite to eat or shop! Learn more about shopping and dining in downtown New Albany! 

• Respect the Photography Studio We share studio space with a photographer. The front half of the building is the photographer's studio and not a sitting area. Please do not sit in the photography studio. 

APPOINTMENT PREP:

• NO DIRTY HAIR | NO WET HAIR | CLEAN, MOISTURIZED FACE

• If you arrive with wet or extremely dirty hair, additional fees could apply or your appointment could be cancelled due to time constraints.

• I prefer fairly clean hair. If possible, wash it and blow dry it the day before or before you get a spray tan. I have products that I like to use and if your hair is super dirty, oily or full of dry shampoo, they will not work. 

• If you have clip in extensions, they also must be clean and tangle free. In addition, if the extensions are brand new, please remove them from the packaging and remove any tags ensuring they are ready for install. 

• SKIN TIPS: Do not get your brows waxed (or any facial waxing) the day you are getting your makeup done or too close to your makeup appointment. Foundation has a hard time adhering to or sitting well on the freshly waxed skin. In addition, be careful about applying topical acne treatments too close to the appointment. Topical medications use acids to peel away outer layers of skin. They will leave your skin more sensitive, and foundation can also have a hard time adhering to the skin. 

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT:

In order to maintain a schedule and properly serve clients, cell phone use is not permitted during makeup application.

DELAYS

If a client is more than 15 minutes late, the appointment could be 

• cancelled 

• and/or accessed an additional $25 fee
